Bobby - Yeah, right.... I know where you work, race and go to school......lol...

MattW - We tried a few different things but the combo that I liked the best was a 9x1 Ti based set-up. If I wouldn't have smashed the chicane 2 times I would have been about 4th or 5th qualifier.... I have to appologize to Fantom, SMC and the rest of my sponsors for making those huge mistakes - You can't make those anymore at these races and expect to make the mains. The competition has become too tight!!

Post Manufacturing the CEFX

Hey Josh i was wondering who does all the manufacturing for your CEFX? ie chassis, bulkheads and hop-ups used on your other cars. What CAD programs do you use for drawing out your car parts? Do you use CNC mills? or manual milling?Do you have your own machine shop ?

Sorry for all the questions........ right now i am in the process of making my own car from scratch, and i wanted to get a view on how you go about creating your own cars.

Thanks Edward Pickering

Hi Josh, after installing the 1/12 arms to 1/10 T1 EVO2, is it possible to adjust the droop by using the droop screws with the arms? Many thanks!

Josh, your battle with Hara in the B Main at Cleveland was truly monumental. If you don't mind me asking, what caused you to pull off? It looked like the car still had plenty of power but all of a sudden was losing grip.

That was one of the more exciting head-to-head battles I've ever seen.

Thanks Josh. What did you think of the PT/KR set-ups. I have tried a KR and i'm not sure, something just doesn't feel right about it, the "feel" doesn't seem as good as a Ti and they defenetly seem to pull more juce out of the cells.

Josh, would you mind posting your Xray setup from Cleveland? Also, what motor and rollout did you end up using? Thanks...

EDWARD2003 - Lot's of reading and research to find the places to make some of the parts for you!! I draw with only Acad 14 right now but hopefully when I can save up some $$ we will upgrade. My father works in a machine shop so that makes some things very easy!!

octavone2003 - Yep, the droop screws still work!!

futureal - Actually, I think the car would have dumped in another lap or two. I'm not sure if it was empty or hung a brush but I suddenly lost a lot of power and didn't want to get in the way of the finish. I'm going testing on Wed to figure out a few things...

trcmaddness - I use Purples in the TC and either Red or sometimes Green in my 1/12.... I think the short arms for my Xray was very good. I want to test more with the long arms but my first impression was that the short arms had much quicker reaction as well as more corner speed. I switched from the M8 to Ko a few years ago. I liked not only their support but their equipment. Now with the Helios and all the new servos I feel very strongly that KO is the best radio system there is.

MattW - I have been running the KR in my TC and I have been very happy with the performance. I've played a lot in 1/12 between the TI and the PT and I think I still don't know what I like...lol...

endler - Thanks and I'll look for the e-mail!!

Brian - [email protected]

Slotmachine - Hey Paul! Nice pic under your name...lol...

KMW - Here it is:

Xray short arms, carpet front shock tower - outer location, 3 degree castor blocks, middle hole for roll center position - no anti-dive or kick-up, Violet front springs, standard 4 hole piston, 40wt Xray oil, camber link on the tower - short position, 2 degrees of camber, 1 degree of toe-out, 2mm front roll bar, 4.5mm ride height, outer location on the rear arms (dremal work needed so the shock bottoms don't hit the wheels), outer location on the rear tower, dark blue springs, standard 4 hole pistion with Xray 30wt, middle hole for roll center postion, no anti-squat, , camber link in standard position on bulkheads - short position on hub carrier with 2mm under the pivot ball, 5mm ride height, longest possible wheel base. Fantom 7x2 with a 19/96.....
