Aaron - I don't have closed test sessions...lol.. Everyone is welcome to come play!! Troy brought me some new ponies for 1/12... Should be good fun!!!

AWOLsoldier - I am not really sure...lol.. I'm still learning about Xray's products... Give me some time and then ask that question...

rc_alan - Thanks for the kind words!! As far as the steering, it's important to keep it clean and don't worry about it becoming loose, I thought mine worked better after it had time to break in...

OK OK OK.... Here's the low down...lol.... Of course Trinity doesn't want the CEFX body to be legal. That's just common sense. Trinity was the one who changed the rules with Mr. Bill this year to allow their new Can-Am body to be legal even though it wasn't ROAR approved. I already showed the CEFX body to Mr. Bill and he gave me the thumbs up to use it and put it in the hobby shop at Cleveland. Also, I have talked to the officials at ROAR. The CEFX body was submitted for approval last week. Trinity's was never even sent to ROAR according to ROAR officials... And so the "David and Goliath" battle begins!!! Everyone ready for the show?? Next they will say the CEFX 12 is illegal.... Ahh well... Whatever happens I will be there racing and enjoying it so bring it on!!!

That's the kind of stuff, that just cracks me up. Whenever Ernie starts gettin' a woopin' he always cries fowl. Always did, always will. No big deal!

Josh,

Please do not run your CEFX body at Cleveland. I cannot go through another (heart) attack.

A heart is required for the attack to occurr. I believe you're safe.

Let's not turn this into a rip on Trinity thread... or at least, not any more than it is. FYI, duplicate accounts are generally frowned upon here... Thanks.

For what it's worth, though, if Trinity *did* petition the Champs to ban CEFX bodies, that would be pretty lame. At least in this humble webmaster's opinion.

Although now the Trinity/Microsoft analogies I've always used make even more sense... haha

Josh, is the new 12th scale bodies mainly designed for mod or is it nuetral? The reason I ask is some say that the Ascari body was meant for mod with all the downforce it has. By the way good luck with your new company and for many years to come with great success! Hope to meet you again sometime. Thanks for all your help with 12th scale and touring car advice.

Jeff - I think Fantom is going to release a motor line based on my favorite winds. Don't quote me on this but I think Troy is going to get to work on that right after the Indoor Champs....

futureal - You are right, I hope this doesn't turn into a bash Trinity thread again... I want to keep this focusing on people's questions relating to their cars and racing (and maybe some CEFX product questions...lol)....

429racer - The body was designed with most of the testing being done on my mod 1/12 car. I thought this was the best way to understand the movement of air around the car (higher speeds to exagerate the feel of the body). After testing in mod I gave some bodies out to guys who race stock and they went quicker with the CEFX body. It has a very stable and neutral feel. Most actually said that they felt like they were going slower with the body (I think because of the stable feel) but then they looked at the lap times and it showed they were going quicker on a more consistant basis.... So far I've only heard good words but I am looking forward to more feedback as the body is run more....

Thanks for the info Kraig ........ I see that the CEFX LMP900 will be legal , so I'll stick with that for now .
