Josh - thanks. I don't know what pinion to use either cause I haven't seen the track layout...it's changing! Thanks for the tire diameter...do you true the front as well? I'm assuming that the fronts can be trued, but I haven't got my arbor yet so i'm not 100% certain.

SteveG - I'm not sure since I haven't run stock 1/12 in a while - I usually just cheat and as some of the fast guys in stock for a gear to start with...

John - I cut the front tires down to 1.74 and I will run them as low as 1.68....

SteveG - LOL.... I meant I cheat by asking the fast guys at the track what they gear!! I didn't mean that I actually cheat...lol...

hey josh

just wanted to say i was at the halloween classic and that was one good race. i never thought i would see a dead heat race and then it happens. and to see you come back from the back off the pack afetr the flip in the begining and seeing that chunked tire on the l/r damm , yo da man.. i would like to hear what you where thinking about during that time. it seemed like you never lost the rythem, even with power sliding the first corner. i think i witnest history with that race.

i do have one qustion. a couple of times during that race it seemed like you could just out run anyone on the front strech. all motor? or just getting out of the corner that much faster?

thank you.
matt ames

oh ya probably don't remeber but i was behind the counter in the first corner with the blue snap on hat on, with my son.

kansasracer - I think the G4 is a very good car. I raced it all summer and I enjoyed driving it. Even though I'm not with Trinity anymore I would recommend the car to anyone...

xxxgrumpxxx - This past weekend Troy from Fantom was nice enough to help me out. I appreciated his help so I ran all the decals. I also recieved some stuff from SMC and Jaco and I'd like to thank them for their help!! As far as where I will be in the future it's still not settled but hopefully I'll soon have a rundown for ya guys!!

mames1 - One thing about me, I don't give up very easily.. So even after crashing when I was in the lead and then flipping down the front straight, I knew the car was hurt but I still thought it was fast enough to win. I hung on to it as best as I could and went for the win! You never know what's going to happen in a race so all you can do is to give it your best and see how it turns out!! As far as the straight passes - that was definatly motor....

Hey Josh, thanks for letting me take pictures of you and your cars. I hope your graphic artist didn't mind either.
