Mr Jolly - I am throwing stuff together for the Birds just to have a car to drive but just so everyone knows - it's not the true prototype or future Kyosho car. Just a quickie hack job to have something to race....lol...... Nothing more to be said....

Vince - www.cefx.net - There should be a Ft. Myers set-up on there from last year....

Ram - I've been very busy and I didn't see anything that I missed last time I checked it... Sorry about that....

ICEMAN - I'll bring a bunch to the Birds and probably set something up with Superior..... Either that or they are avaliable from Shop-a-tron and KT Hobbies....

Jim - I didn't send it in to ROAR yet (I keep forgetting) - The Birds aren't ROAR sanctioned so it will be good to go there....

Brian - Barry's..... I'll let him fill in the blank....lmao....

Thanks JD and BigDog!!

Default Nitro engine break-in 101

Josh,
Just read the article on your website about breaking in a nitro engine. When you said run it at full throttle after the initial warm up, is the car sitting on the starter box w/ wheels on or do you plop the car down onto the pavement and let 'er rip at full throttle? Thanks.

ps.
Happy b-day!

Venom - I will be racing Kyosho....

Kenshin - I think I have it specified in the article but the car is sitting on the starter box..... I'll double check because a few people have asked that.....

Mr. Losi - Yeah, I'm building them this week..... Hopefully I can test it a little before we go to the Birds....

Josh - I told Bob Ingersoll about the new 1/12 body. He liked my description. We will be discussing bodies a lot in the next several months.

Josh does Kyosho have a projected time to release the new touring car? The first RC I ever drove was a Kyosho 12th back in the 80's.

Hey Josh,
Mike Patterson here. I emailed you several days ago, through your website. It was concerning running a CEFX 1/12th scale. I am sure you have plenty of mail to sort through, but if you get a chance, if you could email me sometime.
Thanks,
Mike Patterson

Default foam fitment

Hey Josh, I realize you don't drive for Xray anymore, but I was hoping you could help me with a quick question. I'm having a couple problems getting my Jaco Foams to fit on the rear without hitting the shock eyelit. I've used a shim as large as I feel comfortable using on the backside of the rim, and it still makes very slight contact. Any other tips I should be trying?

Thanks very much.

Matt

Josh, well done at the snowbirds

Just a few questions,

That Kyosho car you drove, did you make it? I just thought it was odd that you weren't using their prototype Tf5 shaft drive car.

What car was Paul running ? I've heard it was an older Kyosho tourer, do you know whether it was a KXOne or an old TF4??
