Josh: I enjoyed watching you race at Brendale last weekend, in the end you were out of luck with the one way bearing letting you down and a back maker getting in your way in the 1/8th final. Now that you have finished up with Trinity, does this mean you will stop running the G4? I have heard around the traps you had some major imput into designing the car? What are your thoughts on the car? And any chance of getting hold of your setup from last weekend? Curious!

Look forward to hearing from you.

H-O

Default Stock TC3 Setup

Josh

You are obviously a great guy that has time for begginers which is very nice of you.

Josh in Regards to the advice you were giving mad racer i think it was about the Stock TC3 Set up does this work just as well with Foam set up.

Would i have to make any other adjustments?

Thanks Josh.

And good luck with your next endeavour.

Kind Regards
Nathan

CypressMidWest - Yep, I'll be there!

kt tracing - It's just the added load on the gears that the spool creates, it just helps to take that little bit of play out so the mesh stays tight...

RCsilly - Sorry I wasn't able to make it out, I went down to Toledo and tested my new 1/12 body...

kevin2 - You have to use motor shims to take up the "play". Another of the Asc nylon shims will be too much....

AMGRacer - Yep, that's what broke! The car was good and I had a good time there so it's not a big deal - there will be another race..lol...

hooked_on - Running the G4 in the future? I'm not really sure but hopefully I'll know in the comming weeks. I didn't design the car but I just wrote race and test reports after each time I raced the Reflex. Team Magic did the rest from there. I'll check out my car and post a set-up once I have time to write it all down.

PinkTC3 - There are a few different foam tire set-ups. Associated has Mike Blackstock's set-up from the 2003 Carpet Nats on their site. That would be a good set-up to start with.

Bobby - I thought you were replacing the trigger with a toggle switch??

Currently I've been running purple/gray on my 12th scale car. And I'm interested in trying a different compound up front, I believe the shore rating is 35 on the inside with a 45 on the outer ring (I cant remember what the color name of it is, I think it's Cyan). would this work? I'm looking for a tire that will chunk a little less. Thanks.
