Default IWC Shelf weapon

Heres a pic of one I owned very briefly. IT was very fast in its day-piloted by Eric Chambers. I owned it for-ohhh-three weeks? Never ran it.

Default Track length - Front and Rear

Josh,

What was that track length on the front and rear of your Xray car at Cleveland this year? Was it 190mm on both ends?

Thanks!!

Paul - Thanks for coming out!! Merry Christmas!!!

erock - Not sure yet. We have to finish up a bunch of paperwork and then we will sort that out.

tc3stocker - I honestly can't remember much as last time I ran the car was over 5-6 years ago!! A lot has changed since then. I don't have any pics of the car either...sorry...

Manfredo - I think I saw the message but I just have been super busy to do anything with it...

Apex - I think it was 190mm on both ends.... I just made it fit through the width box there...lol...

Josh,

What foam tires for (electric) TC on asfalt should I start with!
Which compounds would you recommend for outdoors racing?

Thanks dude.

Josh-
A bizarro question, after looking at the SW pictures. Did you feel that the chassis layout, more specifically- batteries toward the rear, was detrimental to the car? I just noticed that most companies (Losi, Schumacher, OFNA?!?) have gone away from that layout. A friend who used to run for Schumacher said he had a bad time with the concentration of weight at the rear with foam tire races. Rubber was not as bad. I know when he ran the Street Weapon has was fast, but that was rubber tire days.

Thanks

PizzaDude - Electric TC on asphalt, I would start with purple front and double pink rears. You may end up with double purple fronts and purple rears but I'm not really sure.... It just depends on the traction at the track and how abrasive the tracks is on the tires....

robk - I actually thought the car's only detriment was the transmission. The car handled really well and was one of the easiest cars to drive. Remember also, we won a lot of races (especially on foams) even against the TC3's when they first came out. The 3 belt system really held the car back along with the fact that we never had one-ways or solid front axles which really hurt us as other companies learned how to use them to their advantage, especially on rubber tires....

Josh-on practice days for on-road-are rubber tires allowed? I might do a rubber tire/Ozite race-and sadly-I will be as bad on rubber tires as I am running Mod

Just looking for a place to run a few packs.

Josh,
How about an evening race next week. Some of us Factory Rats have the week off and need some racing.

Josh, another setup question (sorry to be annoying. lol. )

Running a FK in Stock Foam at Novak. I have an XRC chassis on the car now, and I have a BMI split chassis in my pitbox (belongs to a friend, but it's mine for the race.)

Would your Carpet Nats setup work as is on the XRC, or do I need to mount up the BMI split chassis? Is the split chassis too much for stock racing?

Rob
