Josh, I seen a couple of guys running aluminum rear hubs and front C hubs. They say that it takes away the flex in the suspension. Maybe I can see replacing the C hubs but the rear plastic hubs look pretty stiff to me. Will this make a difference that the average guy can feel ?

Thanks for taking the time to answer all my questions !

Hey Josh,

On your carpet nats setup for the Xray what would be the first two things you would try to get some more steering out of the car for club racing. You have some washers under your front ball stud. Is that more or less steering? I am already out one hole on the rear shock tower, no swaybar and no washers under the front ball stud with a stock motor.

Thanks

i got the 3.5mm chassis and noticed that the batts were moved forward. what are the other things that were changed? and what is the diffrence in terms of handling when compared to the old chassis in terms of performance?

jag88 - The rear hubs you might only just barely notice on high traction carpet mod but otherwise I don't think there is enough load on them to feel a difference.

chicky03 - Put the same springs on as I ran at the Nats...lol...

Jeff - Umm, I think it's still the same phone #'s.... Give me a call or e-mail me off the CEFX site and I'll reply back with #'s and such....

striker - The new thicker chassis are quite a bit better - with less cutouts means the graphite hold up better as far as fiber break down so the chassis doesn't get tweaked so easy, the thicker material makes the chassis stiffer which again is more consistant and will hold tweak better, and the new battery position helps balance the chassis better for improved on vs off throttle steering.
