It does do some good, and it's the only way I'll check in my gear, personally. What should happen with locked bags is that you have to actually go with them to luggage inspection--that's why they're asking. Then you unlock the bags in front of them and get to watch while they dig through everything. This is actually very helpful because they get to ask you questions about your RC gear and you get to see what's confiscated, if anything. You also ensure no one pockets any of your stuff during inspection. After they're done you lock the bag back up and can then head to your terminal.

I've done this twice now and although it adds a little time, it's worth it to me. I use Mugen bags with small locks I bought separately.

Hey Josh,

I'm currently running the 2174 on my 190mm car. Any benefit upgrading to the 2123?

thanks again,

JCB - It's a little bit quicker but it does take the extra time of wiring the servo into the speed control... I presonally like it a lot and always run it in my TC. Normally I never run and steering curve or expo but when I run on rubber tires I use -15% due to the servo's ultra fast responce - it can make the car a bit twitchy.... I love it with foam tires at 0% though....

Default Evolva

Josh,
How do you go about setting your front droop on your Evolva? I cant seem to keep both sides the sameI keep having to adjust the cams on both sides been playing with the sway bar and still cant get them to even out. What steps to you go through. How do you set up the sway bar with the cup on the ball.Thank you in advance.

Neil - I honestly don't think I did... Sorry...

whynot - I adjust my front lengths (with the bottom ball cup) until the droop is 0mm. Then I hook up and adjust the roll bar without the droop screws touching. Once the sway bar is set equal then I turn the droop screws down until they touch... It's the only way I can get my front end tweaked properly.....

So just to make sure.
First I adjust the shocks bottom ball cup until it holds the droop at zero or what ever I want my droop at.
once I get that set is it ok if one shock is longer or shorter than the other?
Than I hook up the sway bay and adjust the cams so that everything stays even at zero. Where do you tighten down the sway bar cup at,how does it meet with the ball? And when that is all done you tighten the droop screws until they touch. and that will be it. Thank you very much josh I really appreaciate it.

lazyboy - I should be at the Novak Race this year. It's hard to miss a race at Scotty's!!!

whynot - As long as the droop is equal then it's fine - don't worry about shock length. I set the cup with about 1-2mm of the center of the ball inside the cup. Then I adjust the cams and tighten them. Once they are set I tighten down the droop screws so they touch...

Neil - Next time I talk to Ralph I'll pass it on...

i was there too, josh your car looked fantastic.

can you please tell me, will the C12 work with calandra wheels and tires?

i'm pretty sure the rears will, as they're 3 bolt, but the fronts take an unflanged bearing, where as your jacos take a flanged....

if i took both flanged bearings off, replaced them both with unflanged, is that it to run crc wheels? and also, will the offsets be different to say someone using TRC or jaco?

thanks josh, congrats again.
