Got to see this chassis up close this weekend.
It's a work of art.
Nice job Mike.

Gotta nit pick a tad on the advertisement on Exotek's web site...it is not a 5 link floating rear suspension on the EXO104. It is what is commonly referred to as a "link" type rear suspension but definitely not a 5 link. More specifically it is 2 link center pivot that pivots not floats.

That aside it is a great looking chassis...I'm considering one for my Lotus

Default Link vs T-bar

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a thousand times, but I'm a pretty new member and despite having been through the various F1 forums, I don't have anything summarizing the pros and cons of each. Currently I have an F109 from 3Racing, and I like it, but what exactly are the advantages and disadvantages of the T-plate/T-bar chassis vs the link type? I run exclusively on unprepped, outdoor asphalt; the car will likely never see carpet. Thoughts?

Outdoor and/or bumpy track conditions the 109 (in my opinion) is the car to have. The link setup will keep things planted better over bumps.
I have a 109 two 103 and a 104 (wolf).
The 103 is faster on smooth carpet or very well prepped asphalt (must be smooth and grippy).

I also think the 109 is a better rubber tire car (overall).
My 2c.

The body for the McLaren is in multiple pieces, I wonder how it will hold up during a race. Tamiya should re-release some of the old F1 body sets.

Anyone know, give or take, what the shipping cost for D-Drive to the US is for a kit?

Or does anyone know of somewhere in the US popping current F1 sponsor decals?
nevermind on the decal sheets, found what i needed, much cheaper on ebay thanks to a local friend

I'd love to look myself but they're still on vacation

this is not a good pic but i got the stickers arefrom Pattos place, they are expensive but you get enough for two cars, helmets, drivers names and they are made of this plyable vinyl that you can clearcoat after you get them in place. he is in AU but ships out every friday:

Hey guys, another question about getting our f1 class off the ground. We want to run a spec tire and wheel. I cant seem to find any available mounted tires w/wheel, but what Im wondering is if the HPI f10 wheels are compatible with the tamiya/3racing hubs.

I guess the other option is running the tamiya tires and wheels, but if they dont fit the HPI then we will have the same issue, just in reverse.
