This seems interesting for the X1 crowd. Like the Serpent F110-SF4.
Also a aluminum gear diff cover with bearing support for the outdrive.

The interesting thing about that wing mount and the Serpent car is that they have decided that getting the weight off the pod is more important than putting down force directly into the rear tires. I tend to agree with the idea, since I think downforce is negligible with these wings.

I challenge Dale Epp and Co to design an F1 body with the mounting tabs for Tamiya style F1 rear wings on the rear of the body. This would result in similar performance to mounting the wing to the main chassis, however a lot less complicated and expensive. I am designing a wing mount which bolts to the rear of F1 bodies, at the moment, but think ultimately it would be best as part of the body. Of course the body would have to be mounted firmly down. Send me one free of charge once you have done it Dale
