I for isnt running F1 because of the bodies or the different teams. I just like the overall class of F1 and the scaled looks. The bodies are just a bonus. I do prefer to paint the bodies to match existing teams, but i dont really mind what style body it goes on.

F1 in general would be rather boring without some controversy and debate. Although I'm not a big fan of that particular body, at the opposite end of the spectrum, Tamiya bodies are super detailed and accurate but sporadic at best. The last official Tamiya F1 replica was the F2012, and I hate using that wing. And there's so much work into getting that scale look, that I'd hate to bash it into a wall (which I will inevitably do).

I like the Protoform bodies, at least the Fourteen and the Fifteen come close to the latest grid noses. And some creative painting can give you that "coke bottle" shape.

But hey, do what you like and race what you like. And whatever's readily available to you.

I wonder if I'm gonna receive a box of rocks, or if this is a pricing typo. We'll find out in 13-37 business days...

Wow, what a great price! Anything I've seen recently that is seen as vintage is demanding insane prices! Great work, hope it's not just someone's mess that's is irretrievable.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you DO receive what they posted on Ebay that's a major win. If you don't, it's only $40.20. Fingers crossed for you.

This has been happening a lot lately, also for the likes of a Mugen MBX7TR, Serpent 977 evo 2 and such...

I would 'er on the cautious side.

I have seen low prices on 1/12th scale kits. I am cautious too.

I use Elmer's Rubber Cement. Stays flexible in the tire.
