Bought my F104v2 off a track local.
Picked this charcoal color not realizing it is the exact SAME color as the track's carpet. Luckily, there are enough other colors (his car was a Force India repo-so I honored his colors) to help locate the car. Hahahahaha
Took "Best in Show F1" at the Horsham TCS race..... Then, won B-Main. Hey, it's only been about 9 races and I'm still ironing out the bugs.

I'm hoping you guys can double check my math. Is there any issue with using 16ga wire with 21.5 motors? My understanding has been that it's fine, as I believe pan car guys use the gauge with 17.5 motors, but I wanted to verify. Thanks!

Most Pan cars are 1S from what I know but that said I run 16ga wire in my 21.5 blinky F1. No dramas.

I recently went from 16g. To TQs new tq1000 wire on my f1 and swear I noticed a difference in lap times and motor temps.

My thought was with 2s...the extra wire might help. It's still thin enough as to not tweak the pod.
Maybe it's just in my head..but if it dont tweak... why not run more strands.

Hi guys,

Do you feel any handing difference between the different tamiya f104 shells.
e.g. F60, F104 Pro ?

Yes.. but honestly I think most of the difference is from the wing's that align with the body. For me the f60 has more steering than the mp24. The original f104 body is good when not used with the stock front wing. Try it with the mp24 or f60 wing. You will need to mod things a bit to get it to work.

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my finished body for my f1r2.

It's a slightly modernised take on the Renault Mild Seven livery. I'm pretty happy with how it came out :-).

Have a painted & new in package Ferrari F 2012 Tamiya body & parts set
#51521 or SP1521 to add to some one collection.
Takes a pretty big box to ship though.
Shipped $35.00

Just finished snapping a couple pics of my VBC Racing LightningF. Any suggestions for a body?

just found this while cruising the bay.

seriously doubt it would help at all but it looks cool for that ultimate in scaleness.
