For the F2012 front wing issue...
How thick is the material across the bottom? I was wondering if there is enough room to grind a channel out and insert a piece of piano wire. .055" wire glued into a channel should strengthen it tremendously and keep it from flexing like a redbull wing.

Hi guys, I need advice. What rear foams do you reccomend? I found these Tamiya soft foams, I suppose these go on F103 wheels? Can F103 wheels be mounted on a TC by simply using a longer screw (older TC, where wheels are tightened by screw)? Is the hex same?

Raced with the f2012 body last night. The front wing tips dragged in turns. I even had the front ride height raised by 2mm and it wasn't enough. And because of raised front and dragging front wing, my lap times weren't so good. The handling was questionable at high speed straight also. But it looked fantastic in the Sauber paint.
For the main, I put the f60 front wing on and kept the rest of the f2012 body. It was much better. On the f2012, I will try filing the vertical stems that come down from the nose, where the spoiler screws on, to make more ground clearance.

So with that issue resolved going back to back with the F60 body/2012 I had issues with going into the sweeper at the end of the straight it would want to turn the rear around everytime where the F60 body would just dive in and hold on. Now on the infield the 2012 felt more crisp and nimble and I could drive it very aggressive. Lap time wise i went 21.4 with the F60 and 21.6 with the 2012. I am losing time with the 2012 going into the sweeper. one thing to keep in mind though is that i lightened the 2012 wing to only be 2g heavier than the F60 wing so its not the weight its the aero, which makes sense since its only effective at the highest speed turn on the track. I have 20% drag brake so removing it will probably fix it.I also have a bigger rear diffuser which may help out too.
Today was the first complete day with the FQ2013 and it is very good! matched my best time ever on the first day out with a track that wasnt as good as it could be. I machined a lot of custom parts over the past few weeks to test and They all work like they were supposed to!
left side counter weight, I made a counter weight that is the same diameter as the 82t spur gear and i use set screws for weight and they are located on the same BC as the dif balls. Left turn rotation is all but gone!
the chassis is also unique in that it matches the body which keeps under chassis aero smooth (every little bit helps!). The esc is counter sunk into the chassis to lower the CG, My ESC is only .1mm above the bottom of the chassis! this chassis even with the width of it is 4g lighter than my previous narrow chassis.
On the front you will notice that i made custom arms and camber plate which slides to allow for adjustable castor, huge difference in on power steering. I was actually running toe in today with zero camber! Better looking arms coming soon.

A little off topic but does anyone know which bodies fit a TRG111 with no modification?
Do TRG bodies come pre cut?
I can't seem to find any info online unfortunately

F5000
Being an old bugger, I would like to see some of the older F5000 bodies from the 1970's become available. Maybe the F103 class could have a new rising.
