thinking about getting an F1, my first ever RC car was a road wizard (a long time ago).

Can you check tweak with scales? I see guys running off road with 4 little scales setting up weights, can't you do the same with the F1 - just make sure they are as even as possible.

xanavitbevo3 - looks nice, can we get a shot sans body?

neu2this - interesting - would be cool to see how the weight distribution is on the car - tweak should be even numbers = left to right, that seems to make sense. Unless someone else has tried it.

40=hard, 35=medium, 30=soft, 25=supersoft.

Here are a few shots of my car from the TCS Nationals. It didn't take best of show, but it was close.

Beautiful!!!

The only slightly disappointing thing is that the new F1 Paintlab 2012 Lotus decals aren't as gold as the 2011 R31 decal set. These new ones are more of a cream color (probably more accurate to the real car), however, I prefer the more gold color, even if it's not as accurate! Just my 2 cents.

This is not to take away from your car; you did an awesome job, and it is beautiful!!

That's because the current Lotus is more of a tan color than a gold.

In this photo - http://www.ausmotive.com/F1/2012/Lot...eam-E20-01.jpg - it looks pretty gold.
