haha, that is true reminds me of when we ran Fiberglass RC12 and RC10L cars on big foams!

Has anyone tried the Scorpion ETS motor by chance?

Does anyone know of a F1 car that has approximately 60mm (2.3622inch) side pod links?

Are there any adapters I can mount onto my MR33 Setup station to make it work for my F1? Or something to 3D print?

For the Hudy setup station you add part# 109325
Then it works for the front, you don't need anything for the rear of course.

You need to do one side each time, the same as in TC cars. You move the slider for the Toe to see each side.
To see the steering angle, you move the steering to one side, then you move the slider to the inside wheel and you measure that angle, after that you turn to the other side on the radio and check the other inside wheel. It should have the same value for both sides.

If you do not get your head around who to do it, please ask anyone on your local track. I am sure they will show you how to do it.

Cheers
Javier

Great decal selection of F1 decals that you can clean with body wash and they are still there - RC Decals from the uk. Only took one week before it was in my hands.

High grip=softer oils and side springs. Black carpet, softer center spring, 30 wt oil in a shock. Really soft side springs and lighter sides damper oil.

What you are trying to control is how fast the rear pod can articulate. The rear pod doesn't really move while driving (it's free to find contact with the ground), both rear tires stay down. The pod movement allows the front end to rotate while rear stays flat with rear tires in relation to track. How fast it can rotate determines front grip and speed of handling.

If grip is high, you can handle lots of movement without unsettling the car. If grip is low, slowing the pod movement adds stability. This all pertains to side to side movement. Rear in line spring controls forward grip, go as soft as you can without it bottoming out.
I just picked up an F1 today and I Have heard that the tires do not hook up at all on our asphalt truck. The truck has now been sealed and it is smooth sticks perfectly fine with foam 12 scale in with touring car. I'm curious the best way to manipulate the tires to use heat and send them or do you use another type of juice. I'm using paragon FX two for my touring car that seems to work out there. Phone will use FX paragon the original minty stuff.

Whatever compound for rubber TC on your track will work just fine for rubber F-1.

Sauce tires longer than TC, maybe 15-30 min for F1. Depends on conditions but you will have to test that out for yourself. Also, 30 SPF sunscreen works really well for rubber tires on asphalt. I used to soak and bag them overnight before race day with sunscreen. Use normal compound before each race.

I'm trying to get F1 racing at our local asphalt track it is really nice and smooth. Does anyone know if I should start off a class with 25.5 or 21.5 motors? I assume 21.5 would be more fun but I'm not sure? Input?
