I talked to Brad a few weeks ago- I think there was a new home move and a website issue so you will want to contact them direct through facebook or email for sales.

Three guys running F1 - ALL three were Xray.. A FAST lap at this small crc black carpet track is 8sec. Not sure what this all says about how much we spend on these things to get 1/2 sec faster.

Bent/cracked front Xray arms and broken rear wings (all brands) are pretty common at our track too. It's racing man, not stamp collecting haha- bring spares

They must be crappy drivers to begin with if they are over 1 second off and breaking arms on carpet.

We’ve got 1 xray f1 in our club and it is by far the toughest car I’ve ever seen. Tuesday night it was airborne(about 3’ up) cart wheeling and landed on concrete(car caught a seam in the boards and was basically thrown from the contact). Guy cleaned and re-gooped the tires and the car made the next qually

More what I was pointing out.. is people get bent out of shape in TC if this is tweeked or that is not exactly right.. setup stations etc..etc. A half broken F1 is 1 sec off .. the fastest cars out there? we have bent wings.. rwd only 25.5t pan cars.. I thought.. anyway.. it brings into perspective how much some things effect or dont effect the car.

I dont think anyone on here has one of yet. I ran their components years ago on the F103 when they were easier to obtain.

First timer to the F1 world, I just got X1 2018, gear diff 700cst, 21.5 motor and got some questions:

1. What is the performance like to setup the pod lean upward and lean downward?

2. What is the usual setting of the pod upward, downward or flat with chassis?

3. I am using RI GR tyres, on the front end I need to set the ride height the lowest possible in order to get 4.5mm ride height. So, I need to remove all the shims (2mm) under the lower arms. Does it mean I also need to remove 2mm shim on the upper arm in order to get the upper and lower arm keeping the same distance?

4. Do I have to have some droop on front and rear? If yes, what mm of the droop?

5. Balancing. I see front left and right different is 10g. On the rear L and R is 20g different. Right F and R is lighter. Does it consider a matter? Or I still need to place lead to make L and R weight as close as possible? The front part of the chassis is so narrow. Should I place the 10g lead on top of the right lower arm?

Thanks a lot
6. How do I set the rear end more staple? The rear end will spin with full throttle getting out of corner. I already wider the rear end and using 30wt silicon oil, 20k on tubes. What else should I do?

What surface are you running on?
Carpet?
Asphalt?
Same tires front and rear?
Correct tires are everything, cleaned and traction additive properly timed and applied.
You can find setup sheets from top drivers at petitrc.com for different surfaces.
They will show you their droop settings for front and rear.
Typically rear pod is set level or slightly lower but can't recall ever hearing of pod being raised in center.

Has anyone ever seen anyone do a chart of what bodies will fit what chassis? I like to do up the bodies to look like the real cars. I like doing the stickers etc.. So .. will a body for an F103 fit an F104 with minimal changes? what about all the F104w bodies? does the front end just not look wide enough? or will it still fit?

Tamiya did a Type 79 JPS kit on the F104w. I have an F104x1.. any reason I cannot fit this body set?

I think the vast majority of people who read your original post would be under the assumption that you were comparing apples to apples.
