So after watching the biggest class each Saturday, i’m debating on jumiping into the F1 game. I haven’t raced pan cars for year’s but curious which chassis to get. I was thinking F6 because I usually run AE. A lot of racers out here have a hard time running consistent times over 5 min. There’s the Roche that I can’t seem to find kits available but hear a lot of good. There’s the X1 that seems exotic but now days it’s easier to get XRay parts due to Amain. The Yokomo looks good too but parts maybe difficult. If for parts availability F6. XRay or Yokomo will order. They all look the same but can anyone offer any suggestions based on major differences?

Normal suggestion is to get what other people are running so you can get help with setup. AE is probably the easiest to get parts for.

For just about the same price, I would choose the Xray over the F6. Parts cost more for the X-ray but you will hardly break anything on it. I've had the Yokomo. It was ok, but there are better choices.
The Roche will perform just as good as the Xray and is incredible value. I've owned the Roche too. Parts support suck though (again, shouldn't be breaking much on these cars so may be a non issue). Roche quality is a little lower than Xray (fit/finish and the ball diff).

Thanks for your input Dan. I'm not opposed to lack of parts because I rarely break anything. BUT things do happen. I hate to be running and not be able to run because parts are unavailable. My local track carries practically NO parts so ordering them is the main option. Just last week I broke a front arm on my TC7.1. The replacement arm I had but the outter hinge pin i didn't. I had to cut a 2 mm drill bit down to get it back up and running.
