I have to admit that the VBC is my first foray back into 1/10 scale on road racing. I built it stock and started re-learning to drive again. I had it geared down for less than maximum speed as I came up to speed. I also slowly kept working to put MORE steering in the car and learned drag brake is my friend out doors. After many weeks of tuning and driving-- I have been able to get it up to speed with most of the F-1's-- I took 2nd last time out. And it IS the corner speeds I've been trying to get as Rocket Rog has an Xray that has been the class of the field. I still have not gotten there yet--but Rog helped me with additional setup tips last time and I've adjusted the car with MORE droop in the front--and a softer setup with a little more caster--and the car is very good but I haven't been able to race it yet.

The Roche--- was immediately faster THROUGH the corner right off. I haven't had a chance to race it--only practice as I hit a board and broke that plastic front side link hanger--the weak point in the car in my opinion in the first few laps of practice. I've since installed the upgraded aluminum mounts and their awsome. I'm hoping to race the car this Sunday--and I'll report on my findings then. I'll keep you posted but I THINK the Roche Coach is going to be the better car -- it just feels GOOD!! The lap times will tell the story Sunday!!

Hi, just thought I'd share some pics of my RC10F6 that I've pretty much finished up. I'm pretty proud of how it's turned out!
Cheers, Dan

6 but I run on black crc carpet high grip. I'd go to 9 if you need more steering / depending on layout

At the level these guys are at, its hard to take one race and make it a defining statement.
Drew was just as competitive at the Snowbirds this year. We ran CRC tires there. Man he helped me so much, my car was crap in the beginning qualifiers, with his help and a gear diff my car was a completely different car. I ended up winning the C main but my car was more than capable of being in the B if I would have had the setup right earlier.
