i think after this past weekend i'm kinda hooked on f1. had a ton of fun at mile high -- never expected to steal a round 1 tq (thanks again mario ). cannot wait to run outdoors--- but here is my question.

are people gluing the crap out of their front tires outdoors too??

No gluing outdoors. You don't build enough traction to traction roll so it's not an issue were there any Vbc f1 cars at mile high?

1.This makes me happy. As the cars evolve and some of the faster guys start to involve themselves...it's only going to grow. It's a different experience from the normal t.c. grind for sure, but once folks start to "get" the class...they understand why we are so passionate about it.

2.No

Opposite for outdoor on the front tires. No glue. A very popular tire for the front is the Tamiya "kit" soft front tire. It's vinyl and creates a push but keeps the rear of the car from coming around. Can sometimes get the Pit Shimizu 0571 to work or the Pit Shimizu 0577 front tire that acts similar to the Tamiya Kit soft.

I was the lone VBC running the Lightning FX. There was one Exotek, I believe two of the 2016 Roche and the rest were CRC or X-Ray if I remember correct.

The car was very good. I was still learning to adjust to the high grip of the new CRC black carpet and went too conservative saucing in the main and picked up a push about half way through the race. Was running third right behind Dumper early but faded later in the race. MHIC is an awesome event and should be on any carpet racers bucket list. Had a blast, made some new friends and looking forward to next year.

Im not sure if there are pre-mounted tires for pit shimizu tires, but Ive used 571/575 for cold weather (10-15c). The 575 rears are REALLY soft.
