Tamiya Parts bag #51381 has the parts you need:

http://www.rcmart.com/tamiya-51381-f...h=595_744_1390

You'll also need some 5mm ballstuds to mount the arms to the camber plate, 5mm nuts to mount the arms to the rear of the servo mount, and the servo mounts.

Tamiya 54209 5mm ball stud
Tamiya 53599 5mm ball nut
Tamiya 51380 - D Parts bag (servo mounts)

Optional: if you want aluminum balls in the arms instead of the plastic ones, you'll need:

Tamiya 54161

http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/produ...w.asp?p_id=879

As NutDriver mentioned, you'll need (2) 3x35mm countersunk screws for the rear mounts.

Tamiya 19805568

I just did this on a F103 and works like a champ!

Mark

Obsidian,
I would encourage you to consider getting the Exotek F104 upper arms to replace the stock Tamiya F104 upper arms. The stock F104 upper arms are a known weak link. The Exotek arms are pricey, but how expensive is a DNF?

Then maybe there could be a tweak in the car?

Ive checked the tweak, Ive balanced the car, to my best ability, and it still spins.

If I wide open throttle off the line and the tires doesnt hook up then it spins. But if the tires hook up it pretty much goes straight.

For setting the max brakes on my F1 car, I go into the part of the track where brakes are most likely to upset the car (braking in a turn, heavy braking at the end of a straight, etc) and turn down the braking end point until it JUST upsets the car. Yesterday, I had the brake end point turned down to 35% because the surface was cold and traction was down.

It's just a thought, but the last time my car behaved in an unpredictable manner similar to yours, it was because of an improperly set differential. After rebuilding and setting it properly, my car was back to its "hooked up" state.

Thats one thing Ive been trying to play with. Do you set the diff to be loose or stiff?

Ive sanded down the diff and rebuild it so it feels smooth but doesnt seem to help

Thats what Im thinking also. I have to adjust the brakes so that it doesnt upset the car down the straight and have it strong enough so it stops dead when I want to (I hate it when the car doesnt want to stop at the pits and keeps rolling forward)

Hey guys.
still hesitating on my new ride, trf101w.
I'm a rubber tire guy and have a vbc f1 already.
got trf101w kit as a present couple of weeks ago. It's still sitting in the box and couldn't decide whether to build it or sell it to get other kit because I'm not clear about this one yet.

1. Is this the kit specifically designed for foam tire? If so, would it be bad to make it for rubber tire?
2. Is it worth to keep it when I have a perfectly legit & similiar one as the vbc f1?
3. This one can be similar question #1 but do I need to modify the original kit to make it competitive on rubber tire? If so, I would seriously sell this for the other latest one.

Please share you knowledge on this. The blue from the kit is looking at me all the time seducing me and I'm in hell resisting it.TT....
thank you in advance

If you use normal rubber tires the front will be 200mm and the rear around 185mm wide. Now you can choose to widen the rear with offset wheels or you get yourself the narrow front end parts from the narrow 101...$$$
With a 200mm width the car should be as good as a 180-190mm car on rubber tires

Thank you for the comment. I'll keep thinking about it. still cant decide if I should stick with this cause VBC f1 is pretty similar to TRF101w kit mechanically.
