That looks good. My car was hopping also but when I slowed down little for the turns it was much smoother. I don't mind the hopping but when it hops the car loses realism for me and the spectators. So I try to be smoother when there are people watching. Haha

Thank you Brad for being the ultimate "crack supplier" to us F1 addicts with your great decal sheets. Your Benetton B189 decal sheet beautifully covered the Concourse winning car at this last weekends Tamiya National Championship in California. I am sure if you had the time to finish your Toro Roso, it would have made the judges job reallllly difficult. Starting on a second B189 body that will be used in the UF1 Winter Series for the Team Competition part of the series. Your decal sheets keep the realism and variety in racing RC F1.

I already have plans for the Orange Arrows and Jaguar set you debuted at the TCS Nats for 2014 and as soon as you have the Benetton B192/193 decal sheet ready, let me know as I need a set to fix up one of the team cars I ran in last years UF1 Winter Series.

Rear tyres are 5mm smaller in diameter than the kit tyres, but the motor pod will let you lower the axle to use them fine.

Thank you so much! I will try those

Hi guys, Very quick Question!

Im about to start painting my F60 body shell - I want to do it with my airbrush, but dont know what red paint to buy. Anyone use an airbrush for your F1 cars? Whats the best red to put through my airbrush!

Cheers!

You won't be disappointed ! Brad must have been bored because he has new 5-point harness decals that are sick in detail and a steering wheel decal along the lines of what the Tamiya kits come with. I am doing a second Benetton B189 for our West Coast UF1 Winter team series and the Arrows will probably get started after that.

The Beck's / HSBC Jaguar decals are a great edition from Brad's line up also and with Tamiya coming out with gold wheels soon for the F104, well, I think Brad knew something in advance.

I used Spaz Stix Solid Red Airbrush Paint, Part No. SZX12300, and it looks great on my Ferrari F189 body.

Does anyone have some comparison pictures of the Tamiya 2012 body with and without the optional side pods on the body?

Anyone got any pics of the 2012 body with the F60 wing? It looks like I'll only have to trim up the plastic on the wing that goes under the body to make it work.

The bodies look good either way. At a distance and at speed, it is hard to tell. Lol.
But when people ogle your car at the pit, it looks better with the optional pieces.

i'm curious about the F60 front wing too , i'v tried the mclaren front wing on the f2012 body and it's 2 or 3mm too low. (there's a space between those two)
