Wow! Nice job. Very compact and tidy. Is that a 12/nitro engine? Too bad you couldn't package a two speed in there.

I also had some fun a few years ago with a 1/10 nitro build! that never came to the forefront, there was also a cool nitro build two brothers did that was outstanding, I did try to buy the prototype and the rights for it back in the day they wouldn't sell it & never finished it. I think it was called the DSE nitro F1 maybe.
I always wanted to buy another Kyosho F1 1/8 scale McLaren but never got a chance I would have love to see that car come back or even turned into a 1/10 scale car!

If anyone Has a Kyosho FX-1/8 Electric or Nitro F1 For Sale please let me know!

Today I found the time to continue the work on my F160 body.

I did the colouring and put the body parts together:

I still need a driverhead, exhausts and mirrors. "Team Lotus" can you give me the product number of the side mirrors you found?

By the way: who wants to make intake trumpets should look at a 1$ store for a pen set of four (should be 1$, take two ) and then just use the tips.

Next week I will make some stickers to round this thing up.

Amazing work wtcc! I hope you're building two of them because that is way too nice to scratch up

Kudos to Manny for his efforts in producing the body. Incredible.

I hope I don't offend any of the F1 purists with the Eagle livery on the wrong body... but we can't have an all Lotus parade at the first VF1 race

madjack, you haven't offended anyone....that is a beautiful job you did on that Eagle!! I love the detail, especially the work you did on the engine! Would you please post more and bigger pictures of your Eagle body?

I love Lotus, but I want to see other F1 cars of that era too, such as Eagle, Ferrari, Honda, BRM, Brabham, etc. Can't wait for F1 Paintlab to produce the decals for these cars!

wtcc, the item# for those mirrors from ABC Hobby USA is: 66201

They are out of stock at the moment, but they emailed me to say they should be back in stock in 10-14 days

That is THE best detail I've seen yet on the Lotus and the Ford engine!! How did you get it to look so real? We need a tutorial from you on this?

Thanks for the compliment, Manny's body went together very well. I've sourced most of the needed items to complete the body, just don't want to rush the driver figure, etc. I'll post some bigger pictures once it's been completed.

Rumor has it we'll see a couple of Honda's in the near future

Maybe an RA300? Looks like this could be adapted to the body:

Help needed urgently:

I have a TRG111 and need all 3 kinds of rod ends

The rod ends I got in the box seem to be the wrong ones and don't fit correctly

Does anyone know where I can source these within a week as I want to start racing on the weekend of 13/14 April

Im located in Melbourne, Australia

Thanks in advance
