I think they're only committed to carrying the BD7 and parts for it from what I heard.

This weekend at the first round of the new season of ETS in Germany factory Serpent driver Jan Asmer TQ'd the F1 class, which is very interesting considering the Serpent F110 project. However I think he is driving a Tamiya at the moment because its allowed by the rules alongside the HPI and WRC

shake down runs yesterday, went well about a second off of track record but not consistent yet. Potential is there
Thanks for the video, Marcus. It made what you were doing on the design immediately obvious.

Is this car based on the FQ01 (I think that was what you called it)?

How much of the front end is custom?

Any plans for production?

Got more done on my Tamiya Wolf WR1 last night and this morning. Body took a while to cut and dremel, but it turned out great. Faskolor makes a metallic black that actually looks like a coffee color. More of a metallic brown in sunlight. I chose to go with that instead of the dark navy blue on the original. They should have chosen my color back then! I think the dark brown metallic will look nicer with the gold decals. I will start applying the decals next.

I do like that color. I went with gunmetal when I did my F103 a few months back.

I know that there is someone who makes a very nice "form fitting" front bumper for both the Wolf and the Lotus 79 that does away with that huge "tray" style bumper from Tamiya, but I forget who makes it! Anyone out there know what I'm talking about?

Maybe ABC ??

This system minus the body posts could work. The foam pieces already come pre notched in order to make them "thinner" (less deep front to back).

Thanks Evoracer! I'm looking at the link. Trying to figure out how it goes together. I would like to find something that doesn't take away from the scale looks so much.

This is the ABC GT430 body mounted on my F60 Spec chassis. The bumper might be of use to you minus the body posts of course. As can be seen, the foams are already "scored" so you can make them smaller. The main assembly attaches just like the standard f104 front wing.

Jeez...that TRG makes the Lotus look a hell of a lot better. There's your answer Indy. www.reflexracing.net. Give Christian a yell and he either has it available or can get it from TRG.
