Nice, but the CG is very high for a f1...Maybe a laid down motor with a special head could fit under the body better....

Sorry, I wasnt super clear, I was (jokingly) saying Id like to see it with an exhaust blown diffuser. If it was routed down and cut into the diffuser it would be the style of the 80s and 90s exhaust blown diffusers. Would prove/disprove how much (if any) air the diffuser even moved on these little cars. Plus it look sick seeing it blow out the diffuser.

unfortunately the size of its scale wont allow the ability to lay the motor down. Youd be surprised they raced these things in Japan and did very well. My only issue right now is grip and understanding how to get and maintain as the weather gets cooler. Got some people helping me out on that. Trying again tomorrow.

hello all
with the move to 25.5 motors...im looking at replacing a cpl 21.5 motors in 2 f1s and adding a motor to the fleet for a f103.

What motor to go with in formula 1?
I know some good/popular motors for 17.5 spec offroad buggy but do not for f1.
Motors im replacing and like are the reedy s+ and a motiv teams edition. Not sure the model but think its an mc3 or 4
I look when I get home tonight. Im open to suggestions but intrested in

-Team powers
-motiv
-hobbywing
-surpass
-whitz
-reds
-fantom
-r1 wurks

Im a budget friendly rc'er and dont mind a budget motor but still want it to be competitive and not a piece of crap... but also dont mind spending $90 a motor new or used so keep that in mind when suggesting. Are reds and fantoms the same thing?

mods. feel free to move this to the electonics section but this is aimed specifically at my f1 chassis's
ty all looking fwd to another on road outdoor asphalt f1 season!

Are they still making non-traditional F1 bodyshells, like the Gonzo (not exactly sure if that was it's brand/name)?

Q. What.do the extra side pod pieces do? Like on the f104 it.comes with extra side pods. Am I too cut them off and put these on? More aggressive stance? They're angled? Ect?
