I heard the chassis mounted wing makes the car more planted at bumpy outdoor tracks.

Maybe the best solution for the chassis mounted wing could be found at the Schumacher Icon 2. I have no experience with it, but the CG could be the lowest and access to the rear axle is easier than found at the X1.

I guess ppl find a difference in the axles. carbon and metal.
I'm told the wings don't really matter much...
if your hitting. Id tighten or stiffen the spring and re run. 1 turn or even half turn at a time.
the rear mount hitting would be ride height adjustment?
hths
I'm new still so this is where I would start.
what cars? maybe ppl with the same car will chime in.

On your Team Powers tires rotate them every run (fronts). I'd raise you rear wing mount.

I've been swappin em every 3-4 runs or down time when I get home. I need to start doing that. These are hards. Lol.
I have another wing set. The original plastic ones. The rear does mount higher on that one.
I destroyed my rear motor pod last race. Due to arrive.today. new steering link with adjustable turnbuckles too is in mid states. Due to arrive end of the month.
I might retire this car though as I have some new f1 stuff in the works. Set up station too!
Need a pit table and set up board... more tire sauce. Lol.

We run the med/med Team Powers down here. Rotate the fronts every heat! Trying the exotechs but they are hard to find either the tires or the rims. Plus you have to mount them.

We have not been rotating the Team Powers fronts - we found they like less camber than the Pits / Gravity tires, and they last forever. With 2 degrees they get an inside lip like the picture above, at 1.5 degree they wear even.

Med front / Soft Rear in the cooler months, Med / Med the rest of the year. Expecting air temp in the mid 90s Sunday - may try some hard fronts.

temps here in PNW are between 70's and upper 80s
We haven't seen 90s yet this yr.
I'm actually really liking the hard fronts.

I've got some Tamiya foams I'm gonna try and some ride tires on the way.
the tire prep I need to get down to a science. lol
thinking clean em and apply the 5min race prior to mine.
let it sit for the 5mins till dry. I let my tire sauce air dry on or absorb.
Idk if I wanna try a harder rear compound yet as I'm still learning the car.

ill have to decrease my camber ty

I ran their F1 a few years back when their front end was designed like a real F1 car. The car handled pretty good and was similar to all the other pan car style F1 at the time, but durability and lack of local part support put me off a bit. Every time I needed a replacement part I would have to go to my LHS to put in an order and wait for their next shipment of WRC parts to come in and hopefully have what I need which usually takes a few weeks, If not, they would have to specifically put in the parts i need for their next shipment and I would need to wait months for it since this brand isnt especially popular and they arent willing to spend money in stocking up too many parts. I could order it online directly from WRC, but shipping fee was too much to sustain running this car. I eventually sold the car.

Approximate what temperature do you switch the rears from soft to mediums?
