I made by myself most of those decals with a small Cricut vinyl printer.

I realize not everyone has the skills or equipment to custom make everything for an r/c car. Thankfully there are plenty of online resources to find decals for F1 vehicles and/or helmets.

I just a search on eBay for Tamiya F1 Helmet which returned several results. Here is a link...
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...0&LH_PrefLoc=2

I have never purchased anything from the F1R/CLAB, but they have decals for sale. Here is a link...
https://store.f1rclab.com/decals/

You can also contact people who custon design decals or stickers. However, it is important to remember that you are not only paying for the materials/finished product but also for their time & experience. One of the challenges with making good helmet stickers is the odd shape of the helmet. If you clicked on any of my links above, you can see the shape of the sticker before they are applied are not very round/circular.

----------

The main thing to remember is unless you are detailing a display model, after a few feet you won't be able to notice the small details on a helmet Often times it is enough to simply paint the helmet a solid color and the visor black

You can also cheaply buy vinyl pinstripe tape at local auto parts stores that can be used to quickly detail the body or the helmet.

I hope this info is helpful.

did a number on my mean green British machine bittydesgins body this last weekend. Lol.
I'm just gonna leave this right here. Lol. Love me some f1 rc cars.
debating swapping servos tonight. Adding the rm servo mount and upper deck. Stiffer is better for high traction correct? After comparing servos the stock one is just so fast...and I'm a fan of if it ain't broke don't fix it. Lol.
ran my 1st group of f1s this last weekend. I've got some catching up to do. I'd say I'm a solid 5 seconds behind... id have to go back and look at the numbers again but out of the 8 entry's there was 5 in the mains and I placed 5th. Lol. Its fun nether the less.

Hello everyone, I still run the Mabuti torque tuned silver can motor in my F104. I don't know how easy these are to get new so I'd like to know what is a good brushless (motor or motor/ESC combo) to replace my brushed motor with?

Thank you.

They are easy to get new and have good speed if you are just messing around.

What is your budget for a brushless ESC/motor? Most people run a sensored 25.5 motor for F1 on 2S lipo.

Trinity 25.5 with HW just stock . Or you can go up the stock spec HW.

Default RC10F6 swap ends

Hi,
Any ideas how to fight such instability of my friends RC10F6, that it swap ends on main straight? Tires were various, all behaved like this, even Schimizu 573/575 which were the best choice today (I had them on my TRF102 with IFS). Nothing obvious observed, tried few things with no effect whatsoever. So what are top 3 topics (besides tires) that should be adjusted?

Only on the straight away? That usually means the tires are coming unglued or ballooning at high rpm and maybe hitting the body. Maybe also raise the ride height so that high speed bumps aren't causing the chassis to scrape. Last I guess make sure no rcvr glitches.

id suggest checking the pod droop. making sure the pod isn't angled up (car should be flat or sag down). potentially the center spring is too stiff. i had high speed oscillation problems at an IIC event one year after trying a stiffer center spring.

Really liking the suspension travel on this 3racing f1. Says independent suspension all around so would make illegal here in the U.S. for racing legal purposes correct?

Most clubs wouldn't care, if it was a national event or something they may no allow it. There have been a few independent suspension F1 cars through the years and they have all been slower than the solid axle cars for the most part. I can't see a club level place turning you away for having one.

Not only the main straight, tires checked and glued, no change. Will try the ride height next time. Doesnt seemed like glitches, I tryied the car myself and it was just nervous.

Pod was flat, lenghtened the shock to sag it down a bit but no noticeable change. Will try different center spring next time.

Thanks for advices
