I have had accidents that took off the front or rear wing. The car is never very different. Wings effects are mostly weight in my opinion.

Anyone know if Tamiya plan to release more F1 kits? From what i can tell the last ones were 2018 and the closest to a re release of an F1 chassis is the Audi R8R re release coming out.

Do you mean a whole "new" kit, or like more kits of the current model (F104 Pro II) in stock? I'm not sure about a new kit, but they've been getting in batches of the F104 Pro II. Last time all the shops got them was maybe 2-3 weeks ago. If anyone is looking for one, Brownies Hobbies has a few kits in Staten Island, NY and will ship anywhere.

Yeah full kit preferably. Nothing in Australia atm that isn't 'vintage' priced, will keep an eye out and see what appears.

Switching my Schumacher F1 over to 48P gears for outdoor racing. I have an Xray Gear diff and the only real option is a 61T spur. To get the right ratio, need like an 18 tooth pinion but the motor wont slide back far enought to mesh up, hits the axle. Has anyone else done this and if so what was the solution? I would need to run about a 25 tooth pinion to make the mesh right but then its way overgeared.

Look into the Exotek 48P gears for the Xray gear diff. You can get up to a 65T spur.

had the same exact issue with the schumacher icon 2 gear diff when i tried 48p. I ended up staying with 64p and have had zero issues stripping spurs. just wont get the ratios we need running 48p and 25.5.

You can make your own using your home inkjet printer. After printing just lightly clear with gloss or matte 3-4 times before applying so they can be wiped clean. There are dozens of types of adhesive paper all over the internet…

What is something like that worth to a person? CUSTOM made decal for a toy car the size of a silver dollar with shipping? 🤔

Id look at maybe some 1/24 scale decals? Might be small enough for an f1 helmet, not sure. No exp. w/that yet.
