In my opinion the exotek body is probably the best fitting and nicely enough it is also the fastest body that I have found. I have tried all the bodies back to back doing testing and I have found that the exo Is All Around the best handling providing good front and rear downforce with a overall neutral feeling not favoring either end of the car. My second favorite body is the F-22 by montech I noticed this body provides more overall downforce than the EXO but causes the tires to heat up faster which towards the end of a 5-minute run will cause the car to become skating and loose grip.
the absolute best handling body is the Gonzo F1 what you will find the majority of racers in the ETS series running but unfortunately it is not the most realistic looking body so you have to balance what you like between performance and realism. The majority of people would really not notice that much of a difference but if you're fighting for two or three tenths of a second and a Podium spot ultimately your F1 body will make a difference. And most importantly don't forget stickers make you faster

I have a PF 1545-30 and it is too narrow and not tall enough in the rear to mount without doing some modification. I have even mounted this body about .25” back in anticipation of the issue and still not satisfactory.

I guess simple question, what is the best body for a Schumacher Icon 1?

The Bitty Design bodies work well and should be wide enough in the back.

Just curious if anyone is running the CRC WTF16 with the AR set-up outdoors on asphalt? Wondering what set-ups your are running? You can PM me.

Where can I get WRC bodies? The new ones that look like the 2022/23 F1 cars look great.

Carpet tires
seems as though CRC tires have changed. Used to be they lasted forever but over the last few months out club F1 racers are getting ring of death after 10-20 race runs. wtf???

Anyone have better options for carpet? CRC pits used to be king but at double the price and terrible wear lately, not worth it.

Gravity are terrible (already tried them on carpet). Other options to try? Experienced answers only, not looking for theories, looking for real world experience that actually worked. Thanks.

Ever since Schumacher took over, they have been a little "different". The old Pit tires were great. I don't know if the newer CRC tires are still of the big batch they had bought from Pit back in the day or they have finally moved over to a new contract order with Schumacher.

I've driven on Pits and newer Schumacher/CRC tires for about a decade combined (half on asphalt, half on carpet). Tried many different F1 tires but the latest that seem to be as fast (maybe faster), might be the new Exotek tires. I still have limited testing on them but they seem like the real deal. I'm running soft red compound front and rear on black carpet.

dman....ever since the magic ingredient is no longer available for the tires (They are made without it now ) The grip is not as good and the wear is waayyy faster...this is for all tires across the onroad spectrum including TC and f1. If you find a tire that works you may just have to change them more frequently. On Asphalt we used to run Gravity for a whole year on 1 set. now we run team powers but we have to change the rears every 5-6 runs or the lap times go up quickly. The exotek tires have been good but we need more guys using them here. IMO the exotek will be the tire to use going forward. Happy Racing
