2+ years later I am still happy with my Schumacher Icon. Can't go wrong with Xray, CRC, Roche or Exotek also. All great cars.

Yes, they are basically the exact same tire compound, except the Hudy one has a fancy "HUDY" tire decals on it

not to mention the price premium that goes with those decals as well.

Not really an F1 but based on an F1 chassis.... Tamiya announced re-release of the F103LM with the Audi body. I had one of these 20 years ago!

Default F1 tires for asphalt use.

Hello, our club will start running the F1 class on asphalt this spring. Could you give us some information on the tires you use (types, wear, performance, etc.) Thank you.

Hi, Exotek Wheels and tires have won most of the races so far for the outdoor UF1 series. It is open tire so you can run any brand you wish and racers have tested all tires.
This is best;
for spring- yellow fronts, red rears.
for summer yellow front, yellow rears.
mugler and rtebbe like this.

The Florida guys in the longest state series in the country (43 years) are using the Team Powers tires (med-med). Rotate the front tires each run, We tried alot of different tires and these worked the best. the best outdoors tires are no longer being made but I have some used ones.

Hey I have a Xray X1 23 and run on black carpet, I am really struggling with the front and rear wheel lifting. Im running the Schumacher Pit tires. Im pretty much running kit setup, with the exception of removing droop from the front. Someone suggested that I add droop back to the front and go to a softer front spring. Any suggestions to remedy the problem? Forgot to mention that I have glued the sidewall all the way up to the line before the slick tire section.
