CRC tires have changed? I keep hearing new shipment F1 tires aren't as good as the old ones. Anyone know if this is true? Did they change the compound?
I know pit Shimizu closed and Schumacher bought out the molds and equipment to continue production (that was a few years ago). It seems now though something is different and keep hearing complaints that these tires are no longer the go to for carpet.
Anyone actually know what's going on for sure first-hand?

My experience with the new ones has been that they are still the fast tire for carpet, but they don't last nearly as long as they used to. It could be that I bout the blemish tires though, they looked perfectly fine other than some surface imperfections that went way after the first run. They did start to develop the ring of death on the rears in spots though after a couple weeks, which I found odd.

All of the rubber had to be reformulated due to a key ingredient no longer available due to covid in China. Manufacturers have been trying to reformulate the rubber without much success so far that is why none of the tires for on-road currently work well this is the case in TC and F1.
