Regarding the Xray - The bearing in the rear is the side support, it rides in a groove for the entire suspension travel.

All classes are up and down with covid . Still too unpredictable. I think this is typical worldwide.
Our club is open but not many people coming out. I think once winter season starts, then we will have a better idea of which classes will rebound or not.

Another important tuning option that is often overlooked is the position of the rear shockIf the shock is flatter if there are less shims in the rear the shock is closer to the battery and the ground the shock actually does more work less weight is transfer to the rear the car has a little less rear traction it'll give you more on power steering. Coming out of the corner . The larger the angle meaning rear higher front lower more weight is actually transferred to the rear you'll have less on power steering and better rear traction .fix the damping play with the shock position and move the front of the side links to the inner position you want them angled in the front that will allow the car to rotate a little bit better along with the damping changes I think you'll be happy you can always PM me as well I've got a lot of time with this roche evo2 and very pleased with it
One more thing you can also shorten the wheelbase in the rear but I would probably do that last


That is a tube damper I put on the front similar to what the new x-ray car uses . I did not like using lube on the kingpins because I had to put quite a bit and attended to collect a lot of debris as we race outdoors on asphalt so I decided to polish the kingpins so they are silky smooth and then put a few drops of lightweight oil on a rag and wipe them with it that way the kingpin stays clean and I adjust the damping characteristics using the tube the same way you adjust the roll with the tubes in the rear. It actually works very well .I notice a big difference going from a lightweight to a heavyweight lube. I also got rid of the tubes in the rear and use a oil-filled roll damper. I am very big on doing as little maintenance as I can on the car and then setting up the car around the mechanical changes that I make that seems to work well for me. That way when I race multiple classes I can focus more on the driving and less on the setup to the race conditions by just making quicker adjustments. It's easy to install a roll damper on the front depending on which roll damper you buy.... just measure out the lengths with your calipers make sure everything is marked and precise , you have to remove the arms lay them on top of each other to make sure the hole for mounting it is in exactly the same spot on the right and left then bolt it on and you're ready to start tuning with it.

Are the new V2 Schumacher shimizu f1 tires the same rubber as Crc f1 tires still? If so what rear compound. If not how do they compare to the crc tires on black crc carpet.

The tire with 572 in the part number is the tire you want, same as CRC/Tamiya TCS/old Pit

Rear inserts are different on the new Schumacher 572 versus old the older Pits and variants. (one piece insert and of different material versus the single strip insert that you taped/glued before)

Just thought I would share; I am working on 48P spur gears for the Tamya F104 dif. I printed some in PLA and they hold up very well. I ran one gear for two training evenings and one full race day, without damage or excessive wear. This was the first version, which has a flat side (easy to print) but that flat side does leave easy access to dirt in the ball section. Especially dust from the foams I run. I can design down to 60T, I think, and of course higher.

I'm sorry but what is the point? Why not go for stock 48DP spur gears?
