43grams for a diff is pretty heavy for 25.5t spec motor to handle...With all plastic housings and a CF shaft the weight should be able to go down under 30grams...

Default F1 Tires on Black Carpet

Hey guys just getting back into F1 on carpet. I picked up a set of the CRC tires for my car. I know when I raced a few years back guys were glueing the sidewalls on the tires. Is this still the thing to do with new tires?

Yes, the front outside sidewalls. I've read/heard you could also glue the front inside I'm extremely high traction situations but I've never had to so far.

Can you use the Arrowmax 1/12th & 1/10th pan card setup station with an F1 (using appropriately sized bearings)?

Why not. I use my Hudy 1/10 and 1/12th all the time. Some one with a 3D printer can make you the spacers needed. Most of the time I don't use them

Finally, Tamiya have released the Halo from the Formula E car kit as an $11.68 stand alone part

I’m sure many F1 cars will end up having this particular halo. It’s just a shame that it has only come out as a stock white only part. I’m sure many would far prefer for it to be stock glossy black

There's already several versions out that are 3d printed, it's just their quality does not match the tamiya one. When its 3d printed, it's harder to paint, more fragile and the surface finish isn't that great

I could print this in a nylon material so it would be so fragile. The surface finish could be better by using thinner layers. I may give this a try

Had many made and everyone paints them with no problem! It's only fragile when you crash alot.
