As for sponsor decals, maybe do 2 of each for wings. Narrow and wide. That way you have options for the older 2012 narrow rear wings. Newer wings are much wider of course.

Dman.....your first sugestion is the direction I am currently going in. Was looking for more ideas but you just confirmed this is a good way to go. Thanks.

Recommendations for best bodyshell for outdoor asphalt? Long track with decent traction.

I have tested a few bodies back to back comparing lap times. They were all within 3-5 tenths of each other laptime wise but they each felt slightly different. If you are a very constitant driver then this is more of an issue(fighting for tenths of a sec with the leader). if not get what you think looks the coolest and go from their. You can win with most any body, consistant laps are the key in F1. Looking for more steering the f26 proto, montec f18 is a little more neutral. Wrc best of both worlds but only the 18 and you can be agressive with it. The wrc turbo body is very neutral easy to drive but looks the most realistic. I would say pick what you like best and you can use your front and rear wing choice to fine tune for steering or rear traction.

I have seen a few of the montec f18 bodies get hacked to fit well......almost not an f1 anymore. trial and error with a few fellow racers f1 bodies when you are at the track works well.

CRC WTF-1 DS
Does anyone know what bodies fit this car well? I order a Montech from the advice of a local racer, and it had to be hacked up to make fit, and then it looked like garbage. Maybe I mounted it incorrectly, but it was the only way the factory rear mounts seemed to allow.
I reached out to CRC a while back, but still no response.

I run the CRC F1 and use the Mon tech/ XRay 18 body with no problems. Send me your email and I'll send you a picture of my Ferrari #16.

Protoform bodies work fine on the crc cars. Bitty also fits nicely.

One thing you will notice is how you paint the body will affect the overall look. Especially with the new montec. Can be hiddeous (green Carpet champs car) LOL no pun intended) or beautiful (Montec factory pic) lol .

MY Montech body is not hacked and looks very good----Ferrari #16! All my cars look good - better than I drive sometimes. Even the new Porsche (#59 Brumos).

hi, quick question, i have recently gotten my f103 working again and i need to know what spurs can fit onto the axle. i saw an arrowmax 48p diff spur but the center hole was not big enough to fit the bearing onto the axle. i have purchased a spur adapter. and i heard that any spur can fit as long as i have the adapter correct bearing. (is that true)

I know the Montech F18 fits the CRC as Jeff Dayger ran one at the Snowbirds (and my car ran one too). There is also a Protoform F15 that I run and fits well, and I've got a Protoform F26 that I've also fitted and run.
You do need to be prepared to cut a lot of the back of the shell off. That's pretty consistent across modern F1 cars and bodies unfortunately.

swags, Yes that will do the trick for you. Pro tip......put a tiny bit of black grease on the inside of the adaptor or on the outdrive where the adaptor sits.

Mount and trim the body when it is clear so you can clearly see what is rubbing......If your car has a wing to chassis mount you can leave 95% of the rear part of the body on and even leave up to 10% more on to give a realistic look depending on the body
