1/10 R/C F1's...Pics, Discussions, Whatever...

We used to run the Fenix with 30k kyosho grease, before moving to Traxxas pucks into a ball diff ... And then 2 months later the spools were born

I ran Traxxas pucks like a year before they had a Fenix diff. The spool doesn't work everywhere. Even with black carpet, there are some green tracks, spools are garbage there.

quiet on the f1 front any new news?

It’s look a like Lightfoot Cal13, I was build for him back in 2013 with belt drive.

I'm working on a Yokomo build as we speak. Should be a fun project.

Just a couple of screen shots of rear suspension also.

F1 Helmet handy color tip is to use a Silver Metallic Sharpie to paint your helmet a certain color. Its much more durable than using standard paint and easier to work with. You can also mask out certain sections for decals or even the visor, which is stock black

If anyone fancies something like this there's the current 3Racing FGX Evo kit, and Exotek can sell you the carbon chassis for it.

The text in the description and during the video points out its a home made project by the owner. You won't be seeing this in production any time soon.

So, are bodyshells on F1's merely decorative and to stop the electronics falling out, or are there bodies that are better for track performance?
