Hello, can anyone tell me what bodies fit the Xray X1 2018? Anything from Tamiya cars? Lots of bodies out there for Tamiya.

All should fit fine but trimming will be required for sidelink clearance. Also, Tamiya bodies have seperate scale side pod option. Makes the body more sculpted and scale but hampers fitment for side links even more. For a race body, skip the optional side pods. (Heavy anyway).

I've discovered that the only Tamiya body that clears the side-links of my TRF103 (tansverse battery) without excessive trimming is 51377. I bought 51602 and don't like how it looks with the amount of trimming needed.

51377 is the original f104 pro body. It does fit well if you do not use the optional side pods. The optional side pods are the sculpted (more scale) trim and tape scenario. Leaving the body in cut and square makes the most space possible for side links.

What about all the $39 bodies on eBay for the 103/104’s? Lots of cool old school F1 styles with livery decals. May have to order one up and see.

whats wrong with the xray worlds body/ montech18? Works fine and great fit on my CRC.

Myself Booty design type 6c or 6r are my go-to.

J concepts javelin has lots of room for sidelinks too.

I really like the bitty bodies for F1. Light enough, scale look is great without performance compromise. Lots of room for sidelinks. One plus with Bitty, the helmet is modern and is slick!
