Power Supply? A good One?

Power Supply? A good One?
alright guys, I am in serious need of a good power supply. I had that 25 amp radio shack, but that thing is a piece, if our generator goes out, or if I have to run over and shut it off to fill it up, the power supply shuts off, and doesnt turn back on, set it in already, that was my second one I blew today. So, I would really like to just flat out get a nice PS. Cant be below about 12 amps.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,
Mike

This one is very good.

Itīs a 23A switching power supply. Very powerful but lightweight also. Maybe not the cheapiest but very reliable.

The Rivergate ones are too big and bulk in my opinion. I am now using Duracomm power supplies. They are a little smaller than a sheet of notebook paper and one-third the height of the rivergates. I've got a 25 amp power supply. Got it for like 165 from speedworld hobbies. Way lighter for me to carry to and from the track.

The Rivergates come in 5 amp steps, with the 30 amp being the most popular among R/C racers. Figure around $150+ usd for the 30 amp Model.

3 of my friends have the rivergate 30 amp & it has had no problems since day 1.

Another good one
Another good PS is the Alinco 330MV. I bought this after reading some good feedbacks here. Do a search and you should find the thread. Goodluck on your search.

I also like the Rivergate power supply. You can also get them straight from Rivergate distributing...

TRF Germany drivers are using this PS and itīs really good. You can hook up three chargers at same time if needed. Also itīs small in dimensions and lightweight as itīs a switching PS.
The Victor powersupply also isnīt too bad. Iīwas using it since about ten years before I switched to the SC1223. But if it fails you will run into trouble as Victor doesnīt exist anymore. But you canīt using two chargers at same time at least with mine unit. Itīs currentlimiting at about 10,5 amps not at 12amps.
