I just bought a 2080 mamba package. What kind of break in is needed?

This looks like an old thread brought back from the dead. LOL

I only run brushless in all my electrics. Loads of power and loads of fun. I also have the Mamba 8000 - killer motors. Can't wait to see other manufactures try to keep up. I use it my Micro RS4.

Because of the power of the motor, I have ran into some problems. I blew my front diff and twisted the stock universals, so I have better ones coming next week as hop-ups. I love this thing.

Is that a Motek chassis? I'm running the mamba 8000 in my Xray. I recently bought the One-Way and just purchased the alloy dogbone/universals.

No it is not -

Hop-ups for MRS4 include:
540 conversion to allow 540 size motors
MAMBA Competition X Package Mamba-25 and CM2080 (8000KV)
Aluminum Silver - front ball diff - front drive pulley - steering blocks = Blue - Front universals
Hitec Micro H-S81MG servo
Dual Link Tie Rod Set for Mini Servos
Servo Saver
United RC 4/5 Sub-C Cell batteries

Even though it allows the 540 size motors with this conversion, I have been using it with the mamba. Next week when my new hop-ups arrive, I will start using a 540 size brushless motor in the car.

I am waiting for the aluminum parts listed. The mamba blew out my entire front stock drive train. Blew the diff, twisted the stock universals, not the rubber, but the platic out rims blew right off the car.

I love this little motor. And to think I am only running with 6 4/5 sub-c cells. Better than GP1100's by far. If I ran with 8 or used LiPo's it would put out even more power. I am currently only using a 15t pinion. Using the stock motor plate, that is biggest I can go.

Anyone tried running a mod brushed motor with the Schulze U-Force 75 controller? Please post your thoughts and what turn motor were you running. Thinking of trying a 7-8 turn V2 with mine, but just need to know if it can handle it.

Default Mtroniks Genesis Pro

hi,

I was wondering if anyone has tried using this brushless esc ( Genesis PRO) from Mtroniks.

How is it compared to Schulze uforce-75?

I intend to use the Shadow with it?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

the details of the Genesis Pro could be found here:
