Default TA04 and saddle packs

I have a fully hopped up TA04 and I don't like using the stick packs,

this chassis is advertised as a saddle pack chassis for the TA04,

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWT99&P=7

questions:

1, will going from stick to saddle pack on the TA04 improve the handling (roll center) of the car?
2, I am assuming that some sort of velcro is used to strap the batterys to the chassis, is this right?
3, can I dissamble my current stickpacks and reuse them in saddle configuration?
4, are there any other benefits/disadvantages of doing this?

thanks

The weight distribution will be better with saddles than sticks so the car will handle better.

You can use tape, velcro or modify another manufacturers holders, I've seen Xray and Schumacher bits used to good efect.

Yes

You can equalise your cells if tey are in saddle format.

You can get a device called an equalising tray. Try doing a search on 'realtime2' that's the trinity branded one.

Basically this allows each cell to be discharged equally where with a stick pack you cant do this as you cant get a connection on the cells in the middle of the pack.

Here's a pic:
