If it's one or the other, I'd for sure go with the IFS-R.

TA05
I agree the most important thing is to look for access to spare parts and the TA-05 or IFS have plenty available on the market this is probably the best advantage these models have....

Owning both cars... I going to suggest the TA05 MS simply because of the package it comes with out of the box.
Both car are great but the IFS is heavier than the MS & there are tons more hop ups that must be purchased to get it close to the MS on a weight basis alone.
If you are considering racing any on the TCS series the IFS may be a better choice... There are more class choices for the IFS. If you are clubs racing the MS will be a better choice simply because is dynamics are more like the other premium touring that will probably be on the track with you making it little easier to tune for the track. The tube chassis TA05's do tune out a little different than the Carbon chassis cars, if your not that familiar with tuning & you go racing, if no one has a car at similar to one your driving then it can be very frustrating to get a fast set-up.
Now I know this post my strike some individuals out there to post on the contrary but you can't get away for the simply physics here.. the MS is lighter and even if you racing some where were there are minimal weights where both cars qualify, you will have more choices to put weights where you want to on the MS.
All this simply my opinion & both cars are great.
Hope this helps you make a better more informed decision.
