How do you power multiple fans for esc + motor

im looking at getting two fans 1 to cool my esc and 1 to cool my motor in my tt01 i have a 12 turn so it gets pretty hot but i only have 1 free slot on my esc to put 1 fan power cord into. i was thinking i do have the tamiya LED light unit power board and it looks like a fans connector could fit into there but would the power output by the LED unit be enough and will this work?

You can buy a y-harness to plug into the receiver or you can wire both fans directly to the pos/neg wires on your esc.

You could always go this route http://www.rc10.com/reedy/new/motor_accessories.htm

this is my setup for my TC3:batman:

$15 heatsink and fan and added a RadoShack $3 fan...used the same hardware that came with the heatsink....and added a "Y" plug..works great

If you want to keep the look clean... Traxxas sells a nice one that's only 3.5" long. It's used on the Revo (I think). Sorry, I don't have a part number.

i would direct solder them to the pos & neg of the esc, that way you know the fans are getting there power directly from the battery. if you want to keep soldering to a minimal, just solder 1 pair to esc then use a y-harness to allow both fans be used. I use 2 x 5v fans, 40mm fan mounted on my upper fram directing air to the top of motor, then i have a 25mm fan mounted on my mamba max's heatsink, both direct soldered to the pos & neg batt tabs of the esc...
