Default Oh to have an Aston TC body

I dont mean to pick on Dale but the anticipation is killing me for this new body. I still have a ton of older Protoform bodies including a 1997 Opel Calibra! Id love to see an Aston Martin for TC even if it isnt the perfect "go fast" body! I haven't liked some of the new bodies but its still VERY cool that Dale comes on here to keep us updated and on the edge of our seats to see what he comes up with next.

If this body looks anything like the picture of the Lexus posted by Dale then its going to make the Mazda6's smooth non-agressive styling look even more like a girls car...

I was going to get an R9-R, but with the reports about aggressive turning I might wait until this one comes out. At the very least I am hoping this body will behave similar to the Mazda6 but have more rear traction (and of course look much nicer!).

Dale: I feel your pain... Love the vantage look as well. In fact I'll take the Vantage or the Vanquish over the DBR9 anyday Please make one of those

I think the one being made for the world GT is a DBR9 if I'm not mistaken, but kyosho already has one... or should I say had. Itīs possible that Kyosho has discontinued it because I can't seem to be able to get one from the japanese stores anymore (and its been on back order for quite a bit). I already have a DBR9 and was wondering If I'd be able to do some body work in order to make it look more like a vanquish... but since I don't want to ruin that body I won't try until I can get a second one.

Look what I found... There was a time when I was desperately hunting for this one as well... contacted just about all the stores where it would still show up in Google. Too bad it had already been discontinued.

Anyway, back on topic... really look forward to seeing the new LTC-R

Hi Dale,

This body looks like it is going to be something special! I also am one of the guys thinking about the R9R, but I just may wait for this one.

I've been using an old Protoform Nemesis body on my TRF416 because I wanted something different. I am pretty pleased with it. Does either of these new bodies have characteristics similar to the Nemesis?

Dale:

Just a thought about rating protoform bodies...

Rather than supply actual downforce/drag figures from windtunnel tests (which I'd really love to see btw!), how about coming up with a rating system that ranks the various characteristics of the body?

It could be as simple as a star rating (1-5) for a set of characteristics that would allow us to rank and compare bodies BEFORE purchase and use. Things like stability, manouverabilty, traction levels etc.

You could then also give us these ratings for the LTC-R before the release date and before we were shown the completed body : P

That would be an excellent idea. This could be something on the website with each body. A little info on what the body was designed for.

Website, marketing leaflets and flyers, packaging...
All good places to include the ratings

PS. Dale, if you want this new body rated, PM me and I'd be happy to send you my address haha
