I dont mean to bust on ya assocracer, but youre comparing apples to oranges.

setting up a touring car is WAY harder than setting up an off road truck. Carpet and asphalt are less forgiving when you have an "off" set up. on dirt, its easier to get away with a poor set up.

I have a JRxS Type-R, and just like every other car, set up takes time, patients and knowledge. just like others have said, any car is capable of winning races in the right hands.

If your setup is slightly off, the car or truck handles like ass, but if it's right on, it's DIALED. With my T4, if my set up is slightly off, the truck is still fast.
There are 2 major distributors for hobby stuff, Great Planes and Horizon Hobby. LOSI owned by horizon hobbies ships world wide to every hobby store!!!! perhaps the answer is your hobby store not having an account with horizon. Great planes will never stock losi cause it's owned by it's competition....

I dunno, my track stocks all losi stuff and not ONE person runs the Losi TC. I know at the last Novak race one of the Losi drivers couldn't get the one way he needed from Losi, and they do make one for it.
