Default intellipeak

i just got a duratrax intellipeak charger(pulse), the regular one, and it's a easy-bake-oven. I want to install a computer fan on top of it, how do i do it, it would be cool if i could hook it up to the motherboard, but who cares, how do i hook the fan up? any one know?

I'd just put a long set of leads on a fan and have it seperate. You can use it for cooling your charger or motor or anything else. If you do want to hard-mount the fan to the charger then the wiring is pretty easy. Just hook it up to the input side of your D/C or if you're using the AC then find on the board where the output of the transformer is (probably the same place that your 12V input is at). You may want to put a switch in line as well as you might get tired of the fan going all of the time when you're not charging.

who listens to them? all the manufacture of chargers tells you to charge nimh at 3amps or something like that...but who does it? the matchers uses 6amps to charge their batteries! so dont worry!

and for the fan, is there a fan installed in the first place or its broken or not powerful enough and you wanna change it? what i did was get those really small 3mm fan that used to cool motors...those are really powerful and will cool down your charger! find a place that you could mount them inside. you could go to excess-solutions.com and check out their fans..they have a ton of fans..but you have to buy at least 25 bucks from their website!

my charger didn't have a fan, but i did mount one, it does the cooling job, i just wanted to know if it was okay, especially for my charger, to charge the 3300 at more than 3 amps.
