anybody got problem with the dreaded outdrive cup?
i've broken it twice
also cracked front of the chasis ( joint using 3 screw )
mine is a converted DF03
luckily the bodyshell (dark impact ) is still usable as an inner cover..
otherwise that chasis is indeed a vacuum cleaner

Not sure what cup you're talking about, I haven't had any problems. As for the chassis not sure how you managed to crack it, perhaps a big hit?

Hi folks. First post. Finished mine recently. Only thing out of the ordinary are the 2s lipo batts and the Mamba Sidewinder 4600 brushless system. The power is a bit over the top for this car but it's fun. I'm a little worried about munching gears.

My buddies built theirs to look like the box so I had to come up with my own paint scheme. Sucks because I like this one too much and now I gotta do a beater body so I don't hurt this one.

That looks awesome fat.

Did the DK impact shell come with the kit, or did you have to buy it separately?

+1 on the inner body, its just so hard to come by tamiya shells, will any buggy shell work on the chassis ??? its really a debris magnet.

That's really clever. I'm gonna have to do that.

rcmart. has them. Hard to justify spending $20 on a dust shield but I guess I've spent more on stupider stuff.
