You can get the parts for it VERY CHEAP if Barry has some of them at the shop....Its stuff that isnt going to sell today because not many of those cars are around anymore. You may be suprised at how cheap you could rebuild that car for.

sweet, definetly sounds like its a hyperdrive

now I just need parts.

I dont understand why you cant get parts for these any more.

could you imagine going to autozone to pick up a part for your 93 ford escort and the guy there says "we only have parts for 2002-2003 cars"

gus that might not be a hyper drive they used a belt sys for the motor plus it had the same rear pods left and right so you could run the motor either or i think this is a lucas agitator with a delta vilna/trc/composite craft front end.
looking at the picture is for sure not a hyperdive car.!

Actually it is a Hyperdrive car like Eric said. You could run the car either with the belt or without the belt. It looks like the left pod plate had been modified and removed the material nec. to mount the motor on that side. I think it is along the H10 series of cars.

i started back in 1986 there are a lot of guys here that have been around that long with time off here and there.
i took off for about five years between 94 and 99 to race real cars ( full size) then came back i got married and divorced i needed a hobby and couldnt afford full size racing so i came back to r/c, funny thing i dont regret having to carry the heavy parts and load the truck and the car! i love that everything is 1/10 the wieght!

could it be possible that the car is just hodge podge, and not 100% anything? if its an 80's era car, pan car was pretty popular and people were trying all kinds of different things. i dont know, it was just a thought
