IMHO
Allot of people are running there Lipo's way to long.
If you want your lipo's to stay strong longer only pull out 50% or less between charges ( 1200 for a 2400)( 2500 for a 5000) Lipo's do not like to be run down to the LVC, thats what kills them fast and can make them puff up.

can somebody please comment on the weight difference? - for example a 6000mah is pretty much twice the weight of a 3000mah pack.

i just bought a 6000mah pack but am second guessing myself if i should have bought two 3000mah packs at the same price for one 6000 pack since my races are 5 minutes long.

Well....... I'll comment again.....IMHO... Aside from what's already been said in this thread......If you don't have to add weight then your second guess could be right. I my case even with a 6000 I still have to add 1.2oz's to balance my car. 4oz's less is going to make a difference, it could be good or bad. Some people think they need the weight {mostly off road} for better traction or to make the suspension work better.... I'm not one of them, I like my car as light as I can get it.
