Yeah it finally went yesterday after maybe 6-8 runs stock with Orion 4800 Lipo. After reading these forums I was thinking that it would be better to just get the BFastRC kit...But they show that #P70 is for XXX, XXXT, MF1 & MF2 and #P39 is for XXX CR & XXXT CR. Which would be the right one for the Speed-T?

Hey, I recently purchased a speed t and i'm running a 11.1 lipo in it. I immediatly tore up the spur gear. After replacing that i got a few good runs out of it, until I notice a noise coming from the transmission. I 'm thinking I stripped some gears in there also. Anyone have any suggestions on replacement parts and/or part #'s. I'm fairly new at this and don't know what would be the best replacements. I'm currently running a stock pinion and spur gear, but have already looked at this thread, and decided to order the Kevlar 78T and 82T spur gear to se which I like better. My main problem is deeper than that, maybe somewhere in the tranny. Thanks

Need to pull it apart and see what the damage is. The stock spool is just plastic, and does not handle much abuse.

I would suggest a P70 kit from http://www.bfastrc.com/losi.html And a new Diff gear, as the stock one is likely melted a bit perhaps:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Losi-2-43-1-Diff...3286.m20.l1116

But you really need to pull it apart....

Hi

Just a FWIW - I picked up a speed t (new to me ) and upon pulling the transmission apart due to a funny noise; I could see some teeth on the diff were wore down slightly. I also noticed the gear running against the ball diff gear is slightly wider. Anyways; my LHS didn't have the losi part, but I found something exact in a duratrax part - DTXC7403 which is identical to the losi gear, except its maybe 0.5 mm wider; and meshes perfectly.

Anyways if your stuck or can't find the losi part in a pinch that'll work out for you if you're still using the ball diff.
