Default TC5 Problem

Hey there,

I just got a Tc5 and Got it all setup. I do have one problem tho, Its my first belt car and am not sure if its normal or not. When I give it throttle and dont turn the wheels it runs smoothly. Yet when I give it throttle and turn the wheels the car binds and starts to vibrate/chatter horrible.(only on throttle. IT free wheels fine) Is this Normal for all belt cars Or is something outta adjustment.

Thoughts and suggestions Are appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh

Check your end points on your steering, sounds like it might be trying to go past the mechanical stopping point and causing it to bind and vibrate.

it's normal that is what cvds do. You can reduce your EPA as appropriate. It will be fine on the track

This could also be a problem if it was Tom's old car...

Thanks,

The front CVA can bind and cause the problems you describe. Remove the CVA and turn them in your hands and it should be free even at maximum angle. If not, replace them.

Hey I dialed the epa down and it solved it. It was trying to turn past the max angle of the cvd
