Japan Super Expert Touring Nats
This weekend its the JMRCA Super Expert Touring Nats, held at Yokomo's home track Yatabe Arena.
Probably the last 'major' tarmac race for the top drivers before the Worlds in Thailand in November.
This year the rules have changed so its 5 cells and brushless motors (hence most using 3.5s). Newly crowned 1/8th World Champ Hara has just flown straight back from the USA to attend the race for Hot Bodies/Orion, also in attendance is current ISTC world champ, UK's Andy Moore (HB/Orion) and current European TC champ, Marc Rheinard (TRF/SpeedPassion)
Found some coverage at www.cyclone12-blog.com but its in Japanese so my rough translations don't reveal too much.
Qualifying starts on Friday, I'll see if I can find any other websites with coverage. If anyone has any other details or links or pictures, post them here!!

But what kind of japanese new chassis and other equipments will come out:
Tamiya certainly will show it's latest TRF416WE in this race for the promotion of coming soon particular exhibition in the next month
Yokomo is still uncertain if will put out their prototypes, or maybe more private tests to wait until Worlds in Thailand. As the same happened in their Pro10 in '94, victory just in the Worlds debut.
HB should not put any new issues as we saw from the pictures, Cyclone TC is an enough good chassis.
Kyosho will undoubtly put again their TF5 prototypes.
I think Ko will supplying their factory drivers with their latest BMC, hope they will show their great potential against Nosram/LRP domination.
Also to see if will have more brushless motors, not only from foreign makes but waiting to see if is possible from those small japanese factories.
