Default question about equipment help

Hi , i am going to get some equipments (motor ,discharger, tyre warmer)
and i dont know wich ones to get. for the moment i have :

Charger:X peak bal http://www.hobbydirekt.de/product_in...ucts_id=125856

Discharger: Nosram gravity , cutoff 0.6 v

motor:Lrp 5.5 modified

Tyre warmer:speedmind tyre warmer http://demonpowerproducts.co.uk/prod...roducts_id=684

What i was wondering is for the charger would you guys recomend me changing to another charger , i thought of the muchmore cell master.

For the discharger , because mine discharges to 0.6v and its a very basic discharger , i thought of getting either a muchmore CTXD2-PT CTX it can discharge up to 30 amp but is expensive or a muchmore MR-DR4K it can discharge up to 5 amp max but is less expensive. But what is so special of discharging to 30 amp , doesnt it damage the cells if its really needed to discharge to 30 amp il get it.

For the motor because im running 5.5 modified and the other people that race modified have 3.5 motors so i thought of getting a 3.5 orion 2008 version .would you recomend this motor or another one.

And for the tyre warmer, i have the speedmind tyre warmer but i have to plug it either to 7.2 v or 12v and i cant change the temperature its either 40 deg celsius or 60 deg celsius.I dont know wich one to get .

could you guys give me your opinion.
Thank you very much any help will be ve apriciated

As far as I am concerned..

The charger is ok if it can charge at rates up to 10A and discharge at up to 20A. I like to have adjustable delta peak settings and also support 1-6 cells or higher and of course nicad/nimh/lipo modes. I'd also look for a charger that supports a high cell capacity (eg. up to 6000mah).

A good range of feeback information also helps in the battery maintenance process. Its nice to know things at least like peak voltage and both charge and discharge capacities).

Other than that its got to be easy to understand and use.

A lot of people at my club use these warmers...

Trinity (RC6078)
Mid range warmers in terms of price.

Much More - (MR-38EV & MM-TW2)
These have the same control as the above, but are cheaper (although you need to buy them in two parts - warmer control, warmer cups)

Much More (PT-CTXW)
These are the ones I use. The screen and adjustability of different temps between front and rear are good about this model. But for me the best thing is the fact it doubles as a car stand on the pit bench

5.5BL motor (unknown brand) vs Orion 3.5BL...

It depends on your track size. The 5.5 might be more suited to your track if its small-medium sized, but the 3.5 would suit a larger track.

If you're asking about the Orion brand BL motors, they are good. Although, you can find the exact same motor for much less $$ if you buy it as Feigao motor (or Venom even). Reason being, the Orion and Venom motors are just re-badged Feigao motors with the only difference being the sticker on the can.

thanks for replying but what discharger would you recomend, muchmore CTXD2PT or the DR4K. What difference will it make by discharging a pack to higher amp.
For the motor my track is medium size and im trying to get my equipment from same brand ( muchmore and orion ) and 3.5 i thought of it because the fast guys at my local track run 3.5.I run LRP 5.5.and not fast enough.
And for the charger , mine can charge to 6amp max and discharge 1 amp max but it does LIPO nimh nicd.I thought of getting the muchmore cell master as all the pro have it so i think its a good charger.
As i said id like to get only the same brands muchmore and orion.
Thanks
